As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we're investing in the entrepreneurs who will shape Jamaica's next quarter-century. The Marcus James Scholarship provides three years of comprehensive support for outstanding students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Entrepreneurship or accredited business programs at Jamaica's major institutions:

The AFS Marcus James Scholarship for Entrepreneurship is more than just financial support - it’s a launchpad for Jamaica’s next generation of business leaders.
To be eligible for the AFS Marcus James Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a Jamaican student, 17 years or older

Have confirmed acceptance into one of the following universities:
UWI, UTECH, NCU, or UCC -
Be enrolled in an accredited business or entrepreneurship programme (minimum 3 years)

Not be current recipient of another scholarship

Demonstrate strong academic performance

Provide proof of involvement in a community-based, charity, or service organization
-
Submit a 2,000–3,000 word essay on why they should be considered for scholarship
-
Be available to attend a selection interview
